Maya the Laughing Kookaburra
'Maya' means ‘home or house’ in the Kiwari Aboriginal language. To me, Kookaburras always give me a sense of being truly home, and I wanted this beautiful girl to represent that feeling for me.
She is paired with Tucker (who you will find in this collection) and I created them with the intent to be hung together. Happily for me - the original Maya and Tucker were purchased as a pair and will live out their days in Gerringong in NSW. It's my hope that you will feel peace, happiness and 'home' when you look at her.
A4 and A3 prints will be packaged in a rigid envelope, A2-A1 prints will be rolled and sent in a rigid mailing tube.
