Elephant and Calf- Mother and Child Print
From the Artist:
Being a mother myself I wanted to capture the relationship I have with my children. Why not do that using animals as a subject matter 🙂 This print captures the essence of the Elephant mother and child relationship beautifully in a hongi type greeting (meeting of the forehead and nose – as in Maori culture).
FROM PAINTING TO PRINT
The paintings have been further transformed into a Fine Art Giclée Print for you to admire and keep forever. Although this was a super enjoyable task for me, I spent countless hours making study paintings. I was then able to begin working on the final painting. This gorgeous print is the result of all that hard work.
ELEPHANT MOTHER AND CHILD = AFFORDABILITY
I understand that affordability is an important factor when choosing art for your home. Because I believe that all homes should be filled with art, I decided to make my range affordable for you to enjoy. The cardstock prints are printed, from my original painting, onto a beautiful smooth matt 310gsm paper and are truly a sight. Each Elephant Mother and child print will be embossed with my signature.
ELEPHANT MOTHER AND CHILD = FINE ART QUALITY
If you would like the more luscious feel of a fine art print, and choose this option, each Elephant Mother and child will be Giclée print of the original artwork. Printed at 5″ x 7″, A4, A3 or A2 size using water based ink on Arches Aquarelle 310gsm acid free watercolour paper. This allows for the beautiful textured feeling about the original, in the print. Each Elephant Mother and child print will be embossed with my signature.
Prints will be shipped unframed and will be sent flat, in a plastic sleeve, via registered Australia Post (postage times vary according to Australia Post). I will update you with a tracking number once your order has been sent.
They also fit into the IKEA RIBBA frame series or any 5″ x 7″ and A4 frame you can find.
Please treat your print with love and care as it is very delicate therefore it is important to ensure that water does not come into contact with it. Water will activate the paint, which in turn will run.
